He earned an Associate of Arts degree from Lake Sumter Community College and a Bachelor’s degree in Finance from the University of Central Florida. After graduating from UCF, Jay built single-family homes in the Orlando area before becoming an award-winning, top-selling salesman for The Contractor Yard in South Carolina, where he developed innovative procedures for high-volume builders.
