BIOGRAPHY

Sean Saval was born and grew up in South Florida. He obtained his Bachelor’s degree in International Relations from Boston University in 2007. After graduating, Sean returned to Florida to attend Stetson University College of Law. He graduated in 2011, earning his Juris Doctor as well as his Master of Business Administration from Stetson University. Sean also served as an Articles & Symposia Editor for the Stetson Law Review. He was admitted to the Florida Bar in 2012. Sean is also a member of the United States District Court for the Middle District of Florida, the United States Bankruptcy Court for the Middle District of Florida, and the United States Circuit Court for the Eleventh Circuit.

Sean has been practicing law for over 10 years and has been with Kovar Law Group since 2017. Sean focuses his practice on civil litigation in the areas of car accidents, personal injury, residential mortgage foreclosure defense, debt collection defense, property insurance claims, and bankruptcy. Sean also handles appeals, including preservation of error at the trial level, advising clients on the merits and risks of an appeal, preparing briefs, and attending oral arguments.

Outside of practicing law, Sean enjoys running. He has completed 4 half marathons, completed the Ragnar Ultra Relay from Miami to Key West in 2014 and 2015, and completed the Gasparilla Ultra Challenge in 2017.
