Julia Knoll is a local who grew up in St. Petersburg, Florida. She received her bachelor’s degree in Philosophy with a minor in Linguistics from the University of South Florida. Ms. Knoll then went on to earn her J.D. from Stetson University. In law school she participated in intramural softball and competed for the Negotiation Team on the Dispute Resolution Board. During her time on the board she earned honorable mentions for her creative solutions and passionate teamwork. Ms. Knoll spent her last semester working in the Veteran’s Advocacy Clinic where her logic and arguments superseded VA standards and overcame a plethora of obstacles that rendered recovery for her clients. Ms. Knoll enjoys volunteering in a variety of programs such as the College and Career Center at Boca Ciega High School where she helps teens envision their future and plan post-graduate steps to achieve their goals. In her remaining free time Ms. Knoll enjoys traveling and has been to more than 20 countries, playing softball, painting, and snuggling with her cat, Baker.
