BIOGRAPHY

Brian Gruber specializes in litigation of personal injury, property, nursing home; business and employment law claims. He is highly skilled in navigating cases through the Alternative Dispute Resolution processes in Florida after mediating over 1000 cases as a mediator. Previously, Brian worked at Imler Law for employment and business law and Cole, Scott and Kissane, P.A. in medical malpractice, nursing home, personal injury and professional malpractice defense. He is an honorably discharged Marine Corps veteran with over 20 years of entrepreneurial experience and earned his undergraduate studies at St. Petersburg College and his law degree at Mitchell Hamline School of Law. He was admitted to the Florida Bar in 2021 and is also a member of the United States District Courts for the Northern and Middle District(s) of Florida.

Brian was appointed by the Chief Justice to the Florida Supreme Court’s Mediator Ethics Advisory Committee (MEAC) in 2021 (AOSC20-24), and re-appointed to a four-year term in 2022 (AOSC22-38). He is a Florida Supreme Court Certified County Mediator; an Arbitrator in Florida; a Minnesota Qualified Neutral (Mediator and Arbitrator); and an Approved Dispute Resolution Center, Supreme Court of Florida, County Assistant Trainer. In addition to his position at Kovar Law Group, Brian mediates for private clients, and for the Thirteenth and Sixth Judicial Circuits of Florida as a contract mediator.
